The Real Enemy Is Over There

People being too apathetic to go to shows is – in my opinion – the real root of many issues between bands and live rooms.

In my view, the real tragedy of today’s music scene is that performers and venues have an adversarial relationship…

…when, in fact, the real adversary of both venues and performers is the indifference of the general public towards live music.

What’s worse is that this real adversary is freely running around and making a huge mess, essentially unopposed, because venues and performers are too busy blaming each other to do anything about the real problem.
